The next event for the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) is the Norm Stewart Classic which will be held December 6th and 7th at Columbia College. This will feature six high school games and one college game.

Tipping off the Classic at 10:30AM on Saturday the 6th will be Rock Bridge vs Kickapoo (Girls) followed by Hickman vs St. Joseph Academy (Girls). Two boy’s games are scheduled next with Moberly vs Kirkwood and Jefferson City vs Marquette. The Columbia College men’s game will round out the days play. On Sunday play starts at 2:30 PM with Harrisburg hosting Glendale (Boys) followed by Hickman vs Poplar Bluff (Boys). The event will benefit Coaches Versus Cancer, a nation wide fund raiser started by Norm Stewart, former Mizzou Men’s Basketball Coach.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a joint effort by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches and MBCA that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and communities to help win the fight against cancer . . . and we need your help. Be sure and plan to attend. Tickets can be purchased at the schools who are playing in the event for $3.00 or $5.00 at the gate.
