Seventh-seeded Bourbonnais is in the postseason for the third straight season and is a member of the Southwest Suburban Red Conference. The Boilermakers have never advanced past the quarterfinals; they enter the postseason on a three-game losing streak and have been outscored 83-20 to close out the regular season. The defending Class 7A champ, East St. Louis features Courtney Molton (1,901 rushing yards, 28 total TDs) at running back and Detchauz Wray (1,521 yards, 14 TDs) at QB. Top receiving threats are Keante Minor (30 catches, 511 yards, 5 scores) and Jylon Spraggins (27, 457, 5).
HAZELWOOD WEST (7-2) AT HAZELWOOD CENTRAL (8-1)

What you need to know: A league title and a Class 6 District 4 playoff berth will be on the line when these two Suburban North Conference foes square off. The winner goes on to sectionals while the loser goes home. Central, the defending Class 6 champion, kept its playoff hopes alive last week, rallying for a pair of last-minute TDs in a 27-20 victory over visiting Riverview. Senior QB Kerry Gibson has thrown for 1,377 yards and nine TDs and has also scored nine rushing TDs this season. West's power ground game features Najal Cheeks (707 yards, 16 TDs), Caleb Sims (609, 7) and Ryan Ward (423, 11). Cody Davis is West's top defender.
